Christmas Zumba!!!

I know, I know. I'm a little late on this. Sorry, there was Christmas, then I had surgery to have my wisdom teeth out, I have a family, etc. I don't think that I mentioned it, but back in September I suddenly developed a head tremor. I went to see my doctor, and he sent me for several tests, CT scan, blood work, then had me follow up with a neurologist. She then did MORE tests, and sent me for an MRI. Finally, in December, I got my official diagnosis. Benign Essential Tremor There is a link, if you want to read about it. But it basically boils down to, I shake. I will most likely always shake, and if it gets too bad, I can take medication. It's lifelong, but more or less harmless.

Christmas went well. We had fun, food, and gifts. Santa brought my husband and I a Ninja blender. It is fantastic. Now I can make delicious smoothies. Which is great timing, since yesterday I had my wisdom teeth removed. So, for now, chewing, or really opening my moth much, is out of the question. We have also gotten my youngest, Lucas, addicted to smoothies. They are healthy though, so I can't complain!

Before our Christmas celebration, however, we had Christmas Zumba!! I love everything about Christmas. The lights, the decorations, the music, all of it. So, of course, Christmas Zumba is my favorite! Matthew and I were the only ones to show up, but that's okay. We had tons of fun. Jess gave us all Christmas gifts, and of course, we gave her one too. Then we danced our booties off :)

I have two great videos from Christmas Zumba, but this darn blog isn't letting me upload them :( Hopefully the links work!

I will update again in a few days with our one year stats! Happy New year everyone!!

My wedding ring is too big...

And I am NOT sad about this!! This time last year, it was so small that I could not even wear it. Add my fingers swelling from the cold (I'm allergic), and my wedding ring sat on my microwave the entire year. This year, it not only fits, but is actually too big now. Yay :)

                                                    (Not my actual ring/hand ^^^)

Thanksgiving was hectic, but fun. My sister, Heidi and her boyfriend Nick, came up from Ohio on Wednesday. My sister Tracy came here for the night, and my sister Heather was already living here. Just missing the baby, Holly :( That was also my nephew Tyler's 4th birthday. So we had a birthday party, played Trivial Pursuit, and then put the kids to bed and broke out the Cards Against Humanity. That game is so very wrong, but also SO hilarious and fun! We stayed up way too late, but it was tons of fun.

Thursday we cooked, argued, ate and had some more fun. You know, typical Thanksgiving ;) I got Holly on Skype, and we took a "Sister Selfie". A few, actually. Which is good, because I was cut in half for some, haha. Hopefully next year we can have her here for real!!

I hope that everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I am now in full Christmas mode! Christmas is my favorite!!!
